BANGARAM LAGOON

Located within the Bangaram atoll, Parali Island is a tiny uninhabited islet known for its untouched coastal ecosystem. The island is fringed by shallow lagoons and coral formations that support a rich variety of reef fish, crustaceans and marine flora. Its isolation and minimal human activity make it an important refuge for seabirds and marine biodiversity. PARALI ISLAND

The coral reefs surrounding Bangaram form part of Lakshadweep’s extensive reef ecosystem, considered among the healthiest coral formations in India.
