Thol Lake Sanctuary​

A haven for migratory birds, the sanctuary is spread over an area of 7 square kilometres, including Thol lake, marshlands and scrub forests. Home to several endangered bird species such as the Sarus crane, flamingos and pelicans, it hosts flocks of migratory birds - especially waterbirds - between November and February, and a large population of blackbuck (Indian antelope) in summers. The destination is an excellent weekend retreat for nature lovers and photographers.​

Mahudi Jain Temple​

This ancient pilgrimage site is renowned for the idol of Ghantakarna Mahavir Dev, believed to possess miraculous powers. Next to the shrine is a bell at a height of 30 feet. Devotees climb up to ring it for the fulfillment of a wish. A larger temple in the vicinity has a 22-inch marble idol of Padmaprabhu, the sixth Jain tirthankara in padmasana (lotus) posture. It is customary to take a bhoomti (circumambulation) around the 24 shrines of the tirthankaras (spiritual leaders) here.​
