“My team and I are delighted to have the small plate dishes on offer at the Bombay Bar and we believe that this is something quite unique for Cape Town,” says Executive Chef David Tilly.
Small plates include the likes of a quinoa “tikki” kebab; mustard marinated broccoli florets; ostrich and raisin samoosa, while mains feature kofta curry; old Delhi chicken; peri-peri line fish; lamb Biryani; and seared prawn. Desserts include Gulab Jamun; Baked Yogurt and Traditional Malva pudding.
Executive Chef David Tilly weaves together Indian and Cape Malay cuisine to create a uniquely authentic masala melting-pot of regional Indian flavours in sophisticated combinations.
While North Indian food is the main order of the day, the extensive menu also features a selection of other Indian cuisines, ensuring guests are granted an all-around dining experience that will transport patrons to the heart of India without leaving Cape Town’s inner city.
