It speaks of the hotel’s designer’s empathy and understanding that Tirupati is no ordinary pilgrim centre and the hotel design and architectural team has taken this into its playbook. 2.4 million devotees visited Tirupati in 2023 making it the highest visited pilgrim centre in the world. Allegory and the metaphor are at hand in the private and semipublic spaces in the lobby which are Chakra ll Namam ll. They represent the Shankhas believed to be the design elements that evoke positive energy, rejuvenation and peace. The red and yellow Raksha Sutra is the scared thread tied to protect from any harm and to keep the minds focus. The significance of the 3 dwarams in a temple which lead to the Garbhagriha is incorporated in the lobby and at public areas of the lobby entrance.The design perspective is noticeable in the All Day Diner and the rooms of the hotel. With interiors inspired from Tulsi and Sandalwood color schemes are widely-used in the restaurant.

The temple is on one of the seven hills in Tirupati and a place that invokes strong belief in the Hindu religion and culture and the practices associated with it. The non-stop chanting of ‘Om Namo Venkatesaya,’ the pilgrim rush, and the 8-feet tall idol of Lord Venkateswara – everything about the Sri Venkateswara Temple is majestic. 50,000 devotees visit every day and have been keeping the faith from times immemorial which is evident from the devotee donations to the temple.
