As dusk sets in at the holy ghat by the Ganges Har Ki Pauri, the evening takes on an ethereal form. The whole atmosphere gets charged with lit earthen lamps, bustling devotees, chants and shlokas by the priests who swing the huge three-tiered brass lamps. The fragrance of incense & flowers and the thrum of the bells & musical instruments create an evening that is spiritually charged. This is the daily evening aarti that draws the faithful in millions.

Moti bazaar is a bustling stretch of shops on Kotwali upper road leading to Har Ki Pauri which gives you a distinctive flavour of Haridwar.
